According to the Print Queue Settings, the driver version is 2.0.4 It does occasionally print, but for arcane reasons known only to mystics and sages. I spent some time on the phone with Apple tech support, and did a little dance of restarting, turning off power to the printer, deleting and re-adding the printer, and that seemed to work but it stopped working again almost immediately. Printer is on, cables connected, test print direct from printer works perfectly. Update: have installed Yosemite and latest driver in the VAIN hope that this might solve the problem. Have since gone through the whole dance - AGAIN. Problem persists. If anyone has anything to suggest that ISN'T in the troubleshooting docs, please let me know, as the standard troubleshooting and apple tech support have not solved the problem. I'm thinking this is a problem with the driver. Apple Footer.
